Elevators need to be positioned precisely in relation to each floor of a building. IXARC absolute encoders help provide this information without the need for a ground reference. When the power supply is cut off, the position information is kept in memory without the need for a battery.
IXARC encoders are available with the CANopen Lift protocol which meets the high safety standards of this industry. Economical, LINARIX linear sensors are used in the positioning of doors.
