Guaranteed performance
The possible distance (1) between a transmitter and the Harmony access point is approximately:
- 100 m in free field,
- 250 m if a relay antenna is located between the transmitter and the Harmony access point (installed in a metal box or a closed metal cabinet),
- 60 m if an external antenna is connected to the Harmony access point,
- 25 m if the Harmony access point is installed in a metal box or a closed metal cabinet.
Seamless integration
Integration with an industrial PC (IT / OT box) via an Ethernet link with 2 RJ45 ports.
Magelis iPC and Edge Box use Node-RED to wire devices over the industrial Internet of Things. Node-RED is a simple, open source graphical programming tool for designing communication data flows between OT and IT.
To enable connectivity to the EcoStruxure platform, you must have an industrial PC (IT / OT box) to push the collected physical signals and establish immediate access to relevant data.
